Mackin & Sons started in 2009 with one truck and a simple idea: do the job right, charge a fair price, and treat every house like it belongs to family. 17 years and 17,000+ jobs later, that's still the whole business plan.
We're based in Wadsworth and we stay close to home on purpose. Our core service area, from Barberton to Medina, means our plumbers spend their day fixing plumbing instead of sitting on Route 76. Tighter routes mean faster response and a plumber who has probably worked on a house just like yours, on a street near yours.
Every job is backed by our Ohio plumbing license (#30116). Our plumbers are background-checked and trained in our shop. Trucks are stocked so most jobs finish in one visit. You approve the price before work starts, and the work is guaranteed after we leave.
What we believe
- Exceptional service is our everyday standard. Not a slogan. A checklist every job gets graded on.
- Show up when you say you will. You get a real arrival window and a heads-up text when we're on the way.
- Charge what you quoted. The price you approve is the price you pay.
- Leave it cleaner than we found it. Shoe covers, drop cloths, and a wipe-down before we go.
The owner
Meet Mike Mackin
Mike Mackin is a third-generation plumber with over 30 years in the trade. He holds an Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board plumbing license (#30116) and is a registered plumbing contractor in dozens of health and building departments throughout Northeast Ohio.
Born and raised in Toledo, Mike earned his Bachelor's of Business Administration from the University of Toledo. He has put those combined skills to work in the service of preserving and teaching the craft of plumbing.
