Mackin & Sons Plumbing was founded by Mike Mackin in 2009 to provide exceptional plumbing service to residents and general contractors of the greater Akron area. 	MIKE MACKIN A third-generation, licensed plumber with more than 20 years of experience, Mike spent his childhood days learning the craft from his father, who carried on the family plumbing business from his Irish immigrant father. They believe the customer – their needs, schedule, dilemma, budget, wishes, whatever – comes first and not the other way around. Mike is the proud father of four children (3 boys, 1 girl) and the lucky husband of Marisa. One of his bucket list items is to hike the Appalachian Trail with his children.
	MIKE GRAND, LEAD REMODEL PLUMBER Mike has over twenty years of experience as a plumber and has worked on all aspects of residential and commercial plumbing. His primary expertise is the design and installation of plumbing systems for custom remodeling projects. Mike also is known for his outstanding service when homeowners have a plumbing problem. And if you hear singing, it’s probably him. Mike lives in Akron with his family and spends his spare time hunting and watching his kids play sports. One item on his bucket list is to swim with sharks.
	KRISTIAN YOUNGBLOOD, LEAD SERVICE PLUMBER Kristian started plumbing before at the ripe age of 12 and has practiced as his career for well over a decade. He has a broad range of knowledge about all aspects of plumbing systems and is Navien Service Specialist. Kristian lives in Louisville with his wife and two young children enjoys cooking meat on his Traeger smoker.
	ANTHONY PENNINGTON, SERVICE TECHNICIAN Anthony has been plumbing since 2017and enjoys problem solving. He is proficient in running all types of piping but especially enjoys repiping drain lines. Some of his certifications include a Navien Service Specialist (NSS) certification for tankless water heaters and a Wardlfex Corregated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) certification for gas lines. He lives in Sebring with his wife and 2 children and enjoys fishing and watching football - but, he is a Steelers fan. He graduated from South East High in Atwater, where he grew up.
	ALEX MOFF, INSTALL TECHNICIAN Alex started plumbing in 2021 and has quickly risen to Install Technician due to ability to grasp the technical aspects of the plumbing systems. Alex was born and raised in Atwater and is a proud Waterloo graduate.
	THOMAS REIDL, APPRENTICE PLUMBER Thomas comes comes from Cuyahoga Falls and is learning the plumbing trade on the remodel side which provides a full scope of how residental plumbing systems work. Thomas graduated from Archbishiop Hoban in Akron and currently lives in Stow.
	HEATHER STOLL Mom of 4 girls and 1 boy and I have one granddaughter who is 5 years old. I love sports and enjoy animals. I love big dogs, I have a great dane named Ruger. Two fun facts about me are I am a competitive bowler. I started bowling when I was old enough to push the ball down the lane with my grandpa. I also have a love for COWS. I worked for Mackin a year ago I decided to venture off into a different field but here I am back and super happy about it.
	Nick Zollinger Soon to be a new daddy of a little boy. He enjoys golfing, hunting fishing and cooking. Nick is a graduate of Doylestown High School. He has been doing plumbing for the last 7 years. We are happy to have him here as a part of the Mackin Team!
